Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. Her move to Texas in order to pursue a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she shortly after moved to Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found acting as her true interest. She relocated from the Midwest to New York. Her first gig was in the soap-opera All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived series The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some great TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on the drama series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory and is Italian from a family of Italian descent. She was raised by a religious and conservative family. Milano started her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her for an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano was featured in television commercials, off Broadway productions and the American premier of Jane Eyre.
